BridgeTower Media has acquired Furniture, Lighting & Décor magazine from the Scranton Gillette Communications.  The brand includes a glossy monthly magazine, a responsive, customizable website, weekly e-newsletters, social media and video.  It covers lighting and fans as well as home decor categories including: mirrors, pillows, wall decor, furniture, rugs, tabletop and more.  It is sent to over 40,000 purchase influencers in print and digitally each month.

Endeavor Business Media has acquired 14 Events, 7 Publications and Digital Products Portfolio from Scranton Gillette Communications in the Residential Construction Industry.  This is another strategic acquisition for Endeavor Business Media that further strengthens their current construction portfolio.  The main publication titles are: Professional BuilderPro Remodeler and Building Design & Construction.  The events include 4 hosted buyer events under the ProConnect brand.  The addition of these events, publications and digital properties along with a very seasoned and experienced team will lend itself to even further success under the Endeavor umbrella.  This is our 4th closed transaction with Scranton Gillette Communications and 3rd closed transaction with Endeavor Business Media.

Trifecta Collective has acquired TRANSACT trade show from the Electronic Transactions Association.  TRANSACT is the market-leading event in the payments processing industry that is held annually in Las Vegas or Atlanta.  The most recent edition, which was held April 17-19, 2024 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, featured more than 250 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees.  TRANSACT offers attendees over 40 educational sessions hosted by 100+ speakers, networking opportunities and CEU credits.  It’s growth over the last few years has been impressive on all levels.

Cahaba Media Group acquires Graphics Pro Expo & Graphics Pro Magazine from National Business Media. Graphics Pro Magazine combines awards and personalization, apparel decorating and sign and digital graphics into one source for the graphics industry and professional. Graphics Pro Expo hosts events for buyers in these end markets to see in person and purchase the newest technology, materials and supplies to power their business forward.

Trifecta Collective acquired the International Mass Timber Conference & Trade Show from Forest Business Network. This is the leading event in the mass timber and sustainable construction industries including the fast growing segment of Cross Laminated Timber products. The 6th annual event was held April 12 – 14, 2022 in Portland, Oregon at the Oregon Convention Center. The event has been growing double digits every year since its inception, even during the pandemic years. The assets acquired also include a weekly industry newsletter and the annual Mass Timber Report.

Trifecta Collective has acquired the NATDA Trailer Show and NATDA Magazine from North American Trailer Dealers Association. The trade show and magazine are the market leading products serving the trailer industry. The Company also offers its customers a membership model that includes significant exposure to its member dealers, manufacturers and service providers. The NATDA Trailer Show is held annually at the Music City Center in Nashville, hosting 140,000net square feet of exhibit space.

Informa Markets has acquired three events from Premiere Show Group including: Premiere Orlando, Premiere Birminghamand Premiere Columbus. These events cover the beauty industry marketplace including: hair, nails, skin care, spa, anti-aging and cosmetics. Premiere Orlando, located annually at the Orange County Convention Center is the largest beauty trade show in the United States hosting 350,000 net square feet of exhibit space with 25,000 professional attendees and 400 educational sessions. Premiere Orlando ranks in the top 50 largest trade shows in the United States.





HMP Global has acquired the Executive Senior Living Conference & Expo from Argentum Association. Nearly 3,000 executives from 750 companies attend the annual event, which is recognized as the premier networking and educational event for the senior living industry. Participating companies represent decision-makers from assisted living, memory care, independent living, continuing care retirement communities, real estate investment trusts, private equity, capital providers, industry suppliers, media, and academia.

Emerald X has acquired the EDspaces trade show & conference from Education Market Association. The Education Market Association built EDspaces over the past 25 years into a major industry trade show with more than 600 booths along with a strong conference program of 50 individual sessions. The event supports quality educational products and services that are produced and delivered by professional suppliers and dealers. This event is a great addition to the existing Emerald X portfolio of 35 design industry related events that will strengthen their presence in this growing sector.


Diversified Communications has acquired the Energy Storage North America trade show & conference from ESNA EXPO. The event covers all applications of grid-connected energy storage in North America. ESNA EXPO connects utilities, developers, energy users, policy makers and other key stakeholders from around the world to advance understanding and deployment of energy storage, and ultimately build a cleaner, more affordable and more resilient grid. Diversified Communications will co-locate ESNA EXPO with their premier solar + energy storage events in 2021.


Scranton Gillette Communications has sold two trade publications to Wainscot Media.The publications are Imaging Technology Newsand Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology.These publications have 75% of their revenues obtained by digital product offerings and are a great example of how to make the conversion from print to digital work successfully. The combined circulation of 70,000 subscribers and overall revenues have grown steadily over the past several years. The SGC team has done a remarkable job growing the publications to the leadership positions that they are in today.



RJ Promotions has sold three Home and Outdoor consumer shows to Nationwide Expos. The events are: (1) Iowa Home Show, (2) Iowa Flower, Lawn & Garden Show and (El Paso Spring Home Show. These long running consumer shows are the largest home and outdoor events in the regions that they serve. Nationwide Expos, led by Jon Lewis will leverage their existing exhibitor relationships to expand these and other regional home shows throughout the western portion of the country.

Renfro Productions has acquired the Cincinnati Travel, Sports & Boat Show from Hart Productions. This outdoor consumer show has been running for over 60 years. The event is held annually at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati. The event attracts 30,000 outdoor consumer enthusiasts over the eight day period. This acquisition for Renfro Productions is a great addition to their current portfolio of outdoor consumer shows.


Informa Markets has partnered with International Sanitary Supply Associationfor its ISSA Show North America Trade Show & Conference. The ISSA North America Show is the largest show serving the cleaning and maintenance industry. This annual event will be hosted this November at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This show has nearly 300,000 net square feet of exhibit space sold to over 700 exhibiting companies. This year’s event is expected to attract 16,000 professional attendees offering 100+ educational sessions. The event is in the top 100 largest trade shows in North America.


Townsquare Live Events has sold Arizona Bridal Shows to Marketplace Events. The two annual Arizona Bridal Shows in January and June are hosted at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ. These are the largest bridal expos in the United States that comprise over 700 booths, 500 exhibiting companies and 14,000 attendees.


CyberRisk Alliance has acquired a leading industry trade show, two hosted buyer events, executive dinners, lead generation products and several digital properties in the cyber security industry from MIS Training Institute. The transaction includes the annual tradeshow InfoSec World Conference & Expoand two hosted buyer events Security Leadership Exchange East and Security Leadership Exchange West. Emerald Expositions has acquired a group of trade shows and a publication from ST Media. The events serve the hospitality design industry. Included in the sale are the following properties: Boutique Design New York (BDNY), BD West, HX: The Hotel Experience, Hospitality Match, Senior Lifestyle Design Match, Forumseries of events and Boutique Design Magazine.


Access Intelligence has acquired 7 trade shows and conferences from PC Media. The events support public-private partnerships and other forms of alternative project delivery that enable significant private sector investment and participation in infrastructure projects across the country. These events promote relationships between governments and private enterprises interested in these partnership transactions. P3C Media grew this business by more than 100% last year through organic growth and new show launches in adjacent vertical industries.


GS Media & Events has acquired 8 Recreational Vehicle, Boat & Outdoor Sports Consumer Shows from RJ Promotions. The shows are located in Iowa, Kansas, Colorado and Texas. The shows names are: Des Moines Boat & Sport Show, Des Moines RV & Outdoor Show, Topeka Boat & Outdoor Show, Colorado Springs RV & Outdoor Show, Topeka RV & Sports Show, Overland Park RV & Sport Show, El Paso RV & Outdoor Show and Colorado Springs RV & Travel Expo.


Boyne Capital has acquired AC Business Media. The assets included in the sale are 12 Publications, 1 Trade Show, 1 Digital Marketing Services brand and several related websites and digital properties. The brands are largely in the heavy construction industry that were acquired 4 years ago from Cygnus Business Media including: Equipment Today, Rental, Concrete Contractor, Asphalt Contractor, Food Logistics, OEM Off Highway, Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction, ForConstructionPros.com, DHI ConNextions, Supply & Demand Chain, DMN and Green Industry Pros.


Caribou Media Group has acquired BLADE Show, BLADE Show West and BLADE Magazinefrom F+W Media. The BLADE Show, now in its 37th year, is the largest knife event in North America. It is held each year at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, draws 15,000 enthusiast attendees and sells 170,000 square feet of exhibit space to 800 exhibiting companies. The company recently launched a second annual BLADE event to be held the first time later this year in in Portland, Oregon. BLADE Magazine has 28,000 subscribers to its monthly publication, it is by far the leading publication serving the knife industry.


Endeavor Business Media as acquired 9 hosted buyer events from Gallo Business Media. These Hosted Buyer Events serve several industries including: Transit Bus, School Bus, Trucking, Parks & Recreation, Fire Chiefs, Waste Haulers, Public Works, & Jewelers. The acquisition of these events by Endeavor offers the company a great opportunity to expand the business by entering into new markets and leveraging other existing media assets with this hosted buyer business model. Michael Gallo has done a terrific job building up this highly profitable business from scratch.
Exposition Development Company has acquired SPTechCon events from BZ Media. SPTechCon serves the Microsoft SharePoint market with two events annually. For Ted Bahr of BZ Media, this is our third transaction with him this year – selling the final piece of his media company that he so successfully built over the past 17 years. This transaction along with the other recent sales of Interdrone to Emerald Expositions and SD Times to D2 Emerge caps off 17 years of hard work and dedication to this industry. Exposition Development Company will certainly take this strong brand to new heights.


AC Business Media has acquired DMN from Haymarket Media. DMN is the leading provider of digital and data-driven marketing analysis, research and content. Its core audience is senior marketers who need deep knowledge of the key marketing strategy and technology issues. The DMN brand includes several conferences, print publishing, webinars, white papers, websites, email blasts, research and other digital properties. These products reach an audience of over 150,000 senior marketing executives each month.


AC Business Media has acquired conNextionstrade show from the Door & Hardware Institute. ConNextions is the leading trade show servicing the door, hardware, safety and security sectors in the non-residential construction industry. Exhibitors are manufacturers of doors, frames, hardware, electronic access control, software systems and equipment. ConNextions recently held its 40th annual event in Phoenix and it will be held in Baltimore in 2018. AC Business Media, with its existing strong brands and relationships in the construction market, will certainly be in a position to grow the show significantly by all measurements.


D2 Emerge, LLC has acquired SD Times from BZ Media. SD Times is the market leading trade publication in the software development industry available in print and digital. They also offer webinars, lead-generation programs using vendor white papers, banner advertising and direct e-mail list rental opportunities. SD Times has circulation of 75,000 and more than 170,000 total subscribers.


Emerald Expositions has acquired SIA Snow Show from SnowSports Industries America. The SIA Snow Show is the market leading trade show in the winter sports industry owned by the premiere industry association. The event is held annually at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The most recent event hosted 430 exhibitors, 2,400 booths, 240,000 net square feet of exhibit space and 15,000 attendees. In combination with Emerald’s Outdoor Retailer franchise, this event will grow significantly and further support the outdoor sports industry.


Emerald Expositions has acquired InterDrone from BZ Media. InterDrone is the market leading trade show in the commercial drone industry. This annual trade show is held annually at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The 2017 edition is expected to host over 30,000 net square feet of exhibit space with 120+ highly respected educational sessions attracting 4,000 professional attendees. InterDrone has grown significantly since its inception just 2 ½ years ago, making it the largest commercial drone related event in the United States.

EMS World Expo hosts over 80,000 net square feet of exhibit space with highly respected educational sessions that attracts over 5,000 professional attendees. EMS World Magazine has the majority market share and the clear leader in the industry with 50,000 readers.

Marketplace Eventshas acquired 6 consumer shows from Southern Shows including: Southern Spring Home & Garden Show, Southern Ideal Home Show (Charlotte), Southern Ideal Home Show (Greensboro), Southern Ideal Home Show (Spring – Raleigh), Southern Ideal Home Show (Fall – Raleigh) and Southern Christmas Show. These events host between 500 – 600 exhibits each. The Home & Garden show attracts 25,000 attendees and the Home Shows approximately 7,000 attendees. The Southern Christmas Show is the largest of its kind in the United States with 110,000 attendees over 12 days.


Emerald Expositions has acquired RFID Journal LIVE! and related regional trade shows from RFID Journal. RFID Journal LIVE! is the world’s largest and most important event focused on radio frequency identification (RFID) and related technologies, bringing together buyers, sellers, researchers, academics, consultants and others interested in using RFID technologies to identify, track and manage assets and inventories. National Pavement Expo is the leading industry event for contractors in the asphalt, concrete paving, sealcoating, striping, sweeping crack sealing, pavement repair and snow removal industries. Show Pros International has sold its Home Decorating & Remodeling Show held annually in Nashville to Chandler Venture Group. This is the largest home show in Tennessee with over 500 exhibits. Chandler Venture Group will apply its expertise from producing other home and pet shows that it owns, to grow the business that will surely result in being one of the largest home shows in the Mid-Atlantic area.

The event is now in its 35th year held annually at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas. It hosts over 630 exhibiting companies with 83,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
